Canberra Pentecostal Church is a Bible-Based Church.
We are Bible-based in our beliefs, seeking to shape both our doctrine and lifestyle according to the explicit teachings and principles found in Scripture. The fundamental doctrine of our Church is the Bible’s standard of full salvation, which includes repentance, confession of faith, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables.
We actively live out our faith through witnessing and evangelism, with a commitment to making disciples. Canberra Pentecostal Church (CPC) proclaims the truth of the Bible in the power of the Holy Spirit, with the purpose of exalting the Lord, edifying the Church, and reaching the world with the Gospel.
We take our responsibilities as a Church seriously and remain committed to upholding the truth of the Bible without compromise, striving to maintain holiness in both life and doctrine.
Canberra Pentecostal Church was born out of a vision shared by a small group of believers who desired to establish a Christian prayer fellowship among the Malayalee community in Canberra. Through earnest prayer, steadfast faith, and trust in God’s promises, their vision came to fruition. The first service of Canberra Pentecostal Church was held at the Tamil Seniors Association Hall in Isaacs, Canberra, on 25 April 2010.
